Then you can send it immediately or schedule it for later. With Xendy, you can do this easily, directly from the drafts list or while editing the email.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"send-newsletter-from-the-email-editor\">Send newsletter from the email editor<\/h2>\n<p>You can send or schedule your newsletter in two ways:<\/p>\n<h3>Option 1: from the drafts list<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click &#8216;<b>Drafts<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Find the draft you want to send.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click the <b>three dots<\/b> on the right side of that draft.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Choose &#8216;<b>Send<\/b>&#8216; to send the email immediately, or choose &#8216;<b>Schedule<\/b>&#8216; to schedule the email for a later time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Option 2: from the email editor<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click &#8216;<b>Drafts<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Open the email you want to send by clicking on its name.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click the &#8216;<b>Send<\/b>&#8216; button in the top right of the editor.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Choose &#8216;<b>Send<\/b>&#8216; to send the email immediately, or &#8216;<b>Schedule<\/b>&#8216; to schedule it for a later time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In both cases, a pop-up appears where you can choose which segment you want to send the email to.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"selecting-the-right-segment\">Selecting the right segment<\/h2>\n<p>After clicking &#8216;<b>Send<\/b>&#8216; or &#8216;<b>Schedule<\/b>&#8216;, you will see a pop-up with your selected email at the top. Below, you will see a dropdown where you can choose <b>who<\/b> to send the email to.<\/p>\n<p>By default, Xendy selects &#8216;<b>All contacts<\/b>&#8216;. This sends the email to everyone, except blocked contacts (unsubscribes, bounces, and excluded contacts).<\/p>\n<p>You can also choose a specific segment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Manual segment<\/b> \u2013 Contacts you have specifically added to a list, for example by manual entry, uploading a CSV or Excel file, or via a form or pop-up on your website.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Dynamic segment<\/b> \u2013 Contacts in a dynamic segment are determined by filter rules. Think of customers from specific regions or those who made a purchase in the last 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"scheduling-vs-sending-immediately\">Scheduling vs. sending immediately<\/h2>\n<p>After selecting &#8216;All contacts&#8217; or a specific segment, you can decide whether you want to send the newsletter <b>immediately<\/b> or <b>schedule<\/b> it for later.<\/p>\n<h3>If you choose &#8216;Schedule&#8217;<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Select the <b>date<\/b> and <b>time<\/b> you want to send the email.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Review the <b>summary<\/b> on the screen. It shows:\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">The selected email<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">The recipient segment<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">The scheduled send time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Complete the <b>reCAPTCHA<\/b> to confirm you are not a robot.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click &#8216;<b>Schedule<\/b>&#8216; to confirm. Your email is now queued to be sent at the selected time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>If you choose &#8216;Send immediately&#8217;<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Review the <b>summary<\/b> as above.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Complete the <b>reCAPTCHA<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click <b>&#8216;Send now&#8217;<\/b> to send the newsletter immediately to your selected contacts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Xendy handles the sending process and starts tracking the results <strong>immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"manage-scheduled-newsletters\">Manage scheduled newsletters<\/h2>\n<p>Once you schedule an email, it appears under &#8216;<b>Scheduled<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu. Here you can monitor or edit your upcoming emails.<\/p>\n<h3>Cancel a scheduled email<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Go to &#8216;<b>Scheduled<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Find the email you want to cancel.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Click the <b>three dots<\/b> next to it.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Select &#8216;<b>Cancel<\/b>&#8216;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The email will be removed from the schedule and will not be sent.<\/p>\n<p>Do you want to edit or reschedule the email? After cancelling, the email returns to &#8216;<b>Drafts<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu, where you can make changes and schedule it again.<\/p>\n<p>Once the scheduled send time is reached, the email automatically moves from &#8216;<strong>Scheduled<\/strong>&#8216; to <strong>&#8216;<b>Sent<\/b>&#8216;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"after-sending-email-statistics\">After sending: email statistics<\/h2>\n<p>Once your newsletter is sent, it moves to &#8216;<b>Sent<\/b>&#8216; in the left menu. Here you can track the performance of each campaign in real time.<\/p>\n<p>Xendy tracks important statistics, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sent<\/b>: total number of delivered emails.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Opened<\/b>: number of unique recipients who opened your email.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Clicks<\/b>: number of clicks on a link within the email.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Unsubscribed<\/strong>: number of contacts who unsubscribed via the unsubscribe link in the email.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Bounces<\/strong>: number of emails that bounced and were not delivered.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Complaints<\/strong>: number of contacts who marked the email as spam, for example in Outlook or Gmail.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Revenue<\/b>: total revenue generated (available for webshops with an active integration).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Send time<\/b>: the exact time the email was sent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These statistics are updated in real time, so you can view and analyse performance immediately after sending.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"frequently-asked-questions\">Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n<div class=\"accordion\">\n\t<div id=\"accordion-1105259931\" class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t<a id=\"accordion-1105259931-label\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" href=\"#accordion-item-can-i-edit-a-newsletter-after-scheduling-it?\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-1105259931-content\" >\n\t\t\t<button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\"><\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t<span>Can I edit a newsletter after scheduling it?<\/span>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<div id=\"accordion-1105259931-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-1105259931-label\" >\n\t\t\t\n<p>You cannot edit a scheduled email directly.
